  If 2026 is your year to step into leadership - whether for the first time or more fully - this 'Come & Try' session is designed for you.

  At behind closed doors, we support women as they grow into leadership with intention, perspective and the right network around them. This no-obligation introductory session is a chance to pause, reflect, and explore what’s possible when you stop doing it alone.

  What you’ll experience:

  • A 30-minute conversation with BCD Founder & Managing Director, Donny Walford, sharing practical insights on building career relationships and navigating leadership with confidence.

  • An open, honest and supportive facilitated group discussion to unpack the challenges, opportunities and questions you’re grappling with right now.

  • A first-hand feel for our behind closed doors community, and the power of being in a room with other women who are stepping forward too.

  We'd love to welcome you, so you can experience this window into what becomes possible when you’re supported, challenged and encouraged to back yourself.

  Ready to spark joy and create new friendships? 
  
  Join Donny and the behind closed doors team for Be Connected Day – our annual celebration of happiness, wellbeing and unforgettable connections with like-minded women!

  Be Connected Day is one of the most anticipated events on our calendar. It's a chance to step away from the everyday, reconnect with familiar faces, meet women from across our community, and simply enjoy each other's company.

  We'll begin with a relaxed lunch, a shared four-course banquet, before moving into an afternoon activity that's all about fun, creativity and a little friendly competition. As always, the details are under wraps. We'll email the venue details to registered guests the day before the event.

  Agenda - Friday, 13 November 2026

  • 12.00pm: Lunch at a venue 3km from the Adelaide CBD - we will announce the venue one day before the event.
  • 2.00pm: Surprise group activity at the lunch venue
  • 4.30pm: Event concludes 

  Staying on after the event

  Be Connected Day officially wraps up at 4.30pm, but we've reserved a table at the venue for anyone who'd like to stay on and keep the conversation going (at your own expense). Please let us know when you register if you'd like to join us, so we can confirm numbers with the venue.

  Tickets

  All tickets include lunch, drinks and the surprise activity.

  BCD Members, Coaching Clients, Facilitators and Coaches:

  • Alcohol-included: $220 +GST
  • Alcohol-excluded: $195 +GST

  Past Members / On-Hold Members:

  • Alcohol-included: $240 +GST
  • Alcohol-excluded: $215 +GST

  Ticket sales close on Friday, 30 October 2026, as we need to confirm final numbers and dietary requirements with the venue.
  

  Registration

  • Get your BCD Group together and secure your places. A prize will be awarded to the Group with the most members in attendance!
  • Tickets are available for purchase via the Registration button.
  • When you register, please let us know:

    • If you intend to stay on at the venue after the event finishes at 4.30pm

  Cancellations
  

  Cancellations made by Friday 30 October 2026 (14 days before the event) will receive a full refund. Unfortunately, we're unable to offer refunds after this date.
