About Lisa Christo
Lisa practices in tax and superannuation law, commercial law and estate planning.
Lisa currently sits on the board of Crime Stoppers South Australia Incorporated and has recently graduated from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is a member of the Law Society of South Australia, Tax Institute of Australia, Family Business Australia and AICD.
Lisa has a passion for assisting women get all their legal affairs in order. She loves deciphering complex tax issues into plain English and taking the stress out of making succession planning decisions for SMEs and family businesses.
Lisa also loves to mentor young lawyers and is currently teaching the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at The University of Adelaide, in partnership with the Law Society of South Australia. She is also teaching the Business Law component of the MBA Adelaide at The University of Adelaide.
In 2021, Lisa won the Australasian Law Awards ‘Rising Star’ Award and the Behind Closed Doors ‘NFP Emerging Leaders’ Scholarship. She has been nominated as Senior Associate of the Year at the Australian Law Awards and is also a national finalist in the Lawyers Weekly ’30 under 30’ awards in the areas of commercial law and tax law.
